Ingredients
- 1.5 cups white cooked rice
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- pinch salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Combine rice, 1.5 cups milk, sugar, and salt and cook on medium heat for 25+ minutes, stirring often, more towards the end so it doesn’t burn, until thick and creamy. You want it close to be the final texture.
- Add 1/2 cup milk, egg, and raisins. Cook 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla.
- Serve warm with cinnamon/ fruit sauce.
