Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 onion
- 2 ribs celery
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1.5 cups broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cooked, chopped chicken
- 1.5 cups frozen vegetables
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp sage
- S&P
- Biscuit mix
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to biscuit mix temperature.
- Make a roux. Melt butter. Add onion, celery, garlic. Cook until soft. Add flour and cook 1 minute.
- Add broth and milk slowly, while mixing well.
- Cook 5 minutes until gravy forms.
- Add chicken, vegetables, and spices. Cook together until preferred consistency.
- Add mixture to baking dish.
- Mix biscuit dough. Drop by biscuit ball onto mixture.
- Bake until biscuits are cooked, accordingly to biscuit mix recipe.
- Slurp!
