Chicken Pot Pie with Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 ribs celery
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1.5 cups broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked, chopped chicken
  • 1.5 cups frozen vegetables
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • S&P
  • Biscuit mix

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to biscuit mix temperature.
  2. Make a roux. Melt butter. Add onion, celery, garlic. Cook until soft. Add flour and cook 1 minute.
  3. Add broth and milk slowly, while mixing well.
  4. Cook 5 minutes until gravy forms.
  5. Add chicken, vegetables, and spices. Cook together until preferred consistency.
  6. Add mixture to baking dish.
  7. Mix biscuit dough. Drop by biscuit ball onto mixture.
  8. Bake until biscuits are cooked, accordingly to biscuit mix recipe.
  9. Slurp!
