Ingredients

  • Whipping cream 35% (1-2 cups)
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Add cream to stand mixer and mix for 10-20 minutes.
  2. Scrape down the sides every so often.
  3. Mix until the butter separates from the buttermilk.
  4. Strain butter from buttermilk. Save buttermilk for other recipes.
  5. Rinse butter in cold water, squeezing out all the buttermilk.
  6. Squeeze out all water.
  7. Add salt/flavourings.
  8. Shape into roll/ wax paper.
  9. Store for up to 3 months.
