Ingredients
- Whipping cream 35% (1-2 cups)
- Salt
Instructions
- Add cream to stand mixer and mix for 10-20 minutes.
- Scrape down the sides every so often.
- Mix until the butter separates from the buttermilk.
- Strain butter from buttermilk. Save buttermilk for other recipes.
- Rinse butter in cold water, squeezing out all the buttermilk.
- Squeeze out all water.
- Add salt/flavourings.
- Shape into roll/ wax paper.
- Store for up to 3 months.
