Creamy Sausage Tortellini

Ingredients

  • 3 Italian pork sausages
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 6 cups broth
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 package tortellini
  • 3 cups kale
  • S&P

Instructions

  1. Remove sausages from casing. Cook in pan. Set aside.
  2. Cook carrots and onion in remaining grease until tender.
  3. Add garlic and seasoning, cook for one minute.
  4. Add flour to vegetables, then add broth, whisking to not have clumps.
  5. Add tomato paste. Stir.
  6. Add cream and tortellini. Cook for 7 minutes.
  7. Add kale to wilt.
  8. Slurp.
